    The magnificent suite of rooms in the Merchants` Hall, home to the Merchant Venturers, is now available for hire. This most prestigious and unique venue offers flexible accommodation for meetings, conferences, receptions, dinners and banquets. To ensure privacy, the hall is offered as a complete package with all rooms available for use. All rooms have natural light and ventilation and spacious car parking is available. Dining Room Over the years, many fine functions have been held in the dining room, hosting distinguished guests, including royalty. At one end of the room is the Merchant Venturers` Coat of Arms saved from the original Hall in King Street, which was bombed in World War II. From an intimate dinner to a grand banquet this provides a magnificent setting, which must be seen to be appreciated. Garden & Terrace French windows in the dining room lead to the terrace and garden at the rear of the Hall. These may be used for pre-dinner drinks or cocktail parties, weather permitting. The garden also provides an ideal backdrop to those special wedding photographs. Reception Room The reception room, at the front of the building, is lit by two imposing chandeliers, and its furnishings include a Steinway piano and many fine paintings. This room can be used in a number of ways such as for pre-dinner drinks, laid out in theatre style for presentations or boardroom style for larger meetings. Committee Room Situated on the first floor of the Hall this room provides a perfect setting for a smaller meeting or private lunch. Seating up to 16 comfortably, the boardroom table is complimented by impressive leather upholstered chairs bearing the Merchants` coat of arms.
